The Special Education (SEE) Fund will enrich the educational experience for all students and teachers, addressing critical areas identified through discussions with parents and Eanes ISD, including:

  • Recognizing and supporting Special Education educators and teaching assistants
  • Professional development and training for educators
  • Teacher recruitment and support for mentoring programs
  • Inclusive extracurricular programs

Proud Eanes ISD parents, Dr. Christine and Trevor Curry generously established the SEE Fund through the Eanes Endowment. As a part of the Eanes Endowment, this restricted fund works to elevate the quality of special education within Eanes ISD.

Why we donated to the SEE Fund?

“When our daughter, Brooklyn, was born with Down syndrome, we knew we had to do everything in our power to help her develop the skills she needed to help her reach her full potential. We feel so lucky to live in a school district that has that same philosophy. But in these times, we know we need to do more, that is why we’re happy to donate to the SEE Fund. The funds collected for this fund provide essential resources that help the Eanes team create an inclusive and supportive environment for students who may require additional assistance.”
