Today, we're shining the spotlight on a true Westlake legend - Jeff Montgomery, @whs_chaps English II Honors teacher and English department chair. Since 1997, Mr. Montgomery has taught every level of English at WHS. He's known for building strong relationships with his students and is often spotted cheering them on at games, concerts, plays, and other events. The McCaig family shared this heartfelt tribute: “Thank you for motivating Mimi to keep doing her best this year. She has loved having you as a teacher and mentor in English. Today, we’re celebrating Brittaney Morrison, 7th grade English teacher at @hcmscougars_eanes. Ms. Morrison just wrapped up her 25th year in the classroom, with 10 of those at Hill Country. She’s not only a beloved HCMS educator but also an HCMS and WHS (Class of ’94) alumna *and* a proud Eanes ISD parent of three. Now that’s a legacy of learning! The Turk family shares: “Thank you for supporting Rachel’s love of reading!” Ms. Morrison, your decades of dedication and heart have shaped generations of learners.
