👋 Please welcome Katie Detamore, your new EEF D 👋 Please welcome Katie Detamore, your new EEF Development Director! Katie's passion for volunteering began with the National Charity League alongside her mom. She has volunteered with a wide variety of places in the Austin community including Ronald McDonald House Charities, Side by Side Kids, and the Junior League. Kate is a UT alumna - go, Horns! - and loves travel and learning about different cultures, as well as reading and her weekly mahjong group. Katie describes what about EEF's mission excites her, "I deeply appreciate the work that EEF does for our community. My family instilled in me a strong passion for education, and I feel honored to support our educators and make an impact for the future of the children in our community."
