🌟 We're highlighting Honor a Teacher recipient 🌟 We're highlighting Honor a Teacher recipient Lynn Bonsky, @bpebobcats 3rd grade teacher! Ms. Bonsky spent nearly a decade at BPE as a parent, volunteer, and substitute teacher before starting as a 3rd grade educator this year. Originally from the LA area, she taught elementary education in Southern California before moving to Austin fifteen years ago. The Schneider family notes about Ms. Bonsky, "Thank you for your patience and hard work . . . Addie grew so much this year. Thank you for continuing to challenge and support her." ✨ We’re excited to spotlight @hcmscougars_eane ✨ We’re excited to spotlight @hcmscougars_eanes sixth-grade math teacher, Kaitlin Chambers! Originally from Louisiana, Ms. Chambers earned her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a focus on math from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2022. Shortly after, she and her family moved to Austin, where she’s been inspiring students at HCMS ever since. Ms. Chambers brings math to life with her love of problem-solving, and her students feel it. The Aldred family shared, “Our daughter has loved working with you. Your kindness and support have made a big difference in helping her succeed!” Thank you, Ms. Chambers, for helping students see the beauty in math and for caring so deeply.
