🌠 We're happy to present an @eemustangs Honor a 🌠 We're happy to present an @eemustangs Honor a Teacher double feature - Tammy Ballard and Maria Silvera, fourth grade Spanish Immersion educators! Ms. Ballard grew up in southeast Texas and is delighted to work at Eanes Elementary, where she loves the friendly, hometown feel of the school. Between her and her husband, they have seven kids, 14 grandchildren, and three "furbabies". A native of Honduras, Ms. Silvera has lived in Austin for 24 years with her husband and two children. She has taught for 17 years, 15 of which have been in elementary and Spanish Immersion education. She aims to empower students to find their inner strengths and discover what inspires them to become lifelong learners. 💬 The Selden family notes about Ms. Ballard, "We are so grateful for all of your hard work this year in teaching and loving Posey. She has thrived in your class and simply adores you." 💬 They write about Ms. Silvera, "We know so much hard work goes into being a fantastic teacher, and your effort is forever appreciated in shaping our daughter." 🌟 Today we're featuring Honor a Teacher recipie 🌟 Today we're featuring Honor a Teacher recipient Amber Finch, @wrmswildcats 8th grade math teacher & department head! A proud Aggie with a Master's of Mathematics from UT Dallas , Coach Finch has taught math for seventeen years, the last nine of which have been at WRMS. She's also a parent to two @bcebluejays Barton Creek Elementary Bluejays. Coach Finch is known for her innovative approach to math education. 💬 The Agnese family shares about Coach Finch, "Thank you for encouraging Paige in 7/8th math! She has learned so much and enjoyed the challenge while doing so. We appreciate the creativity and care you bring to your classroom." We're grateful for you, Coach Finch. ✨ We're thrilled to spotlight Honor a Teacher re ✨ We're thrilled to spotlight Honor a Teacher recipient Sarah Yurko, @hcmscougars_eanes Drama Director! Ms. Yurko brings her professional acting expertise to HCMS, where she has taught for an impressive 18 years. During this time, she has served on the Campus Leadership Team, the District Leadership Team, and written and produced many of the student productions. 💬 The Aldred family writes about Ms. Yurko, "Thank you for making learning fun and exciting for our students! You foster a love of creative expression and help our students shine." 💬 The Sundstrom family notes, "You have brought so much joy to Asa's day.
